The B-10 flight jacket is a lightweight jacket designed to replace earlier leather flight jackets.

The United States used a large number of leather flight jackets, such as the A-2 and B-3, in the early days of World War II, but these jackets were heavy, difficult to clean, and became heavy in humid environments.

To address these problems, the US military began to develop new jacket types. The outer shell of the B-10 jacket is usually made of cotton or nylon, and the inner part is filled with wool or other synthetic materials.

This makes this jacket lighter than leather jackets, easier to maintain, and has good warmth performance.

The development concept of the B-10 flight jacket is to provide a more practical and easier to maintain flight jacket.

At the same time, its design also takes into account the comfort and warmth needs of pilots in the air. Its design is simple and practical, without too much decoration, and emphasizes functionality.

The B-10 flight jacket was widely used in World War II, especially in the European battlefield.

Since it was introduced in the middle of the war, it may have appeared in important battles such as the Normandy Landing and the Swabian Operation.

CBI Theater refers to the China, Burma, and India Theater during World War II, where "CBI" is an English abbreviation, standing for China-Burma-India.

The CBI Theater was an important theater for the Allied Forces in the Asian theater, involving a series of military operations and strategic activities with Japan.

During World War II, Japan expanded rapidly in Asia and occupied most of the coastal areas of China, Burma, and parts of India.

In order to fight against Japanese aggression, China, Burma, India and other countries cooperated with the Allies to form the CBI Theater and launched a series of military operations.

ATC refers to the Air Transport Command of the United States Army, which was responsible for managing and operating the Allied air transport network during World War II. ATC's mission is to transport supplies and personnel from one region to another by air to support the Allied operations.

ATC played an important role in the CBI Theater, responsible for transporting military supplies and personnel in China, Burma, India and other places. ATC supported the Burma Road supply line and the Flying Tigers air supply line in the China Theater, as well as military operations in the India Theater by establishing air bases, routes and air transport systems.

ICWATC was formed in December 1942 by the merger of the Tenth Air Force.

Its mission was to transport supplies, personnel, equipment and aircraft by air within China and India during World War II.

The various styles of badges on American combat uniforms during the war were a landscape of that era, covering various organizations on land, sea and air, with imaginative pattern designs.

The materials are roughly divided into early leather badges and later machine-sewn embroidered badges. Leather badges can be painted, hand-painted with acrylic, or hand-sewn with leather patchwork. Hand-sewn leather patchwork is relatively more complicated to make, with pure hand-cutting, splicing, and sewing, which makes the material of the patch more layered.

The leather will also present a retro texture after aging.

In the vintage market, the price of leather patchwork is often higher.
