The origin of the BEANIE HAT can be traced back to the 18th century, when wool knitted hats were popular among fishermen, hunters and other outdoor workers. In fact, even the Vikings wore knitted hats. The original purpose of this knitted hat was simple: to keep the head warm in cold weather.
